D I S P E R S I O N
Online group practice event, 1 September 2020.

Dispersion
is a project in which a series of glass hand beaded rhizomes were posted to a cohort of 17 artists in Melbourne, Australia. The sculptures were collectively unpackaged and sensorial responses were explored during an online artist-led group practice event. An open invitation was extended to artists to alter the rhizomal bodies. These alterations are markers of adaption to new environments and form an enquiry into the evolution of organisms across time-space.
