A bed of sweet mulch has a material relationship to the practice of composting. Scraps of fennel destined for the compost heap have been 3D scanned, their digital renders printed onto cotton fabric and sewn to encase a fragrant body of sugar cane mulch. I can smell the sweet scent as I lower my head to rest.
